Summary Kanwar Naveed was not allowed to enter a polling station, says Haider Abbas Rizvi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday has demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to extend the polling time in the NA-246 by-poll.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that the slow process of polling is an attempt to limit MQM s victory margin. Haider Abbas Rizvi said that the administration has agreed to all the demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
They expressed these views in an emergency press conference held on the directives of MQM chief.
The MQM Rabita Committee members said that thousands of voters are being barred from casting votes. They urged the authorities to extend the polling time.
Rizvi said that Kanwar Naveed was not allowed to enter a polling station. The members said that one vote was cast in an hour which highlights the fact that there is a problem.
