KARACHI: (Dunya News) - Karachi police have on Tuesday given a final shape to the security plan for Na-246 by-election. Police officials will be deployed at the main gates of all the polling stations according to the security plan, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, 10 police officers from each polling station from West Zone will do security duty. Rangers and police officials will also patrol around the polling stations. Rangers and police officials will be deployed on Wednesday. The officers will spend the night inside the polling stations and they have been directed to bring their clothes with them. They have also been directed to report at Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office at 8 in the morning.
NICs will be checked before allowing a person to enter the polling station according to the security plan. SP Malir will be in charge of all the polling stations in Azizabad police station premises, SP Bin Qasim will be in charge of all the polling stations in premises of Joharabad police station, SP Keemari will be in charge of Super Market, SP Investigation East will be in charge of Gulberg, SP Investigation Korangi will be in charge of Sharifabad while SP Investigation West will be in charge of Liaquatabad area according to the security plan.
