Summary Zardari said that PPP leaders are ready for the consequences of their doings

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said that the running of country’s affairs is not in the hands of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and yet they are criticized, adding that this criticism is kindness of ‘friends in media’.

Talking to the media after consultation session in Islamabad over Gilgit Baltistan election and local body elections, Zardari said that PPP leaders are keeping an eye on the country’s situation. He sarcastically said ‘friends in media’ are kind enough to criticize them even though they no longer run country’s affairs.

Zardari said that PPP leaders are ready for the consequences of their doings.

PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira told the press that applications from candidates for Gilgit Baltistan elections are summoned by April 24 and that a special committee has been formed to decide on awarding of tickets.
