Pak-Iran gas pipeline: Pakistan not bound to obey US

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan is not bound by US sanctions on Iran vis--vis Iran-Pakistan pipeline, however added that the embargoes would be respected, if imposed by the UN.Addressing parliamentary members at a luncheon in Islamabad, Gilani called upon all the institutions to work within their ambit. He rubbished the notion about confrontation between the government and judiciary. He said all the members of parliament are law makers and not law breakers. He asserted that all the resources are being used to meet the challenges of terrorism, inflation, unemployment and loadshedding.
