KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) will today (Sunday) show its political strength for the upcoming NA-246 elections by organizing a rally on Shahrah-e-Pakistan near Ayesha Manzil, Dunya News reported.

PTI chief Imran Khan and other leaders will also address the procession.

Political activities are at peak in NA-246 and the arrangements for the procession are being made with great enthusiasm and strength.

PTI’s tsunami will hit Karachi today in relevance to the election campaign of its candidate Imran Ismail.

Shahrah-e-Pakistan has been closed for all types of traffic due to the procession whereas stage is being prepared near Aisha Manzil by setting up containers.

Hundreds of chairs have also been placed and security arrangements have been finalized.

Services of special security unit and retro force have been taken whereas more than 3000 police officials will be deployed and eight Superintendent’s of Police (SP’s), 16 Deputy Superintendent’s of Police (DSP’s) and 40 Senior House Officer’s (SHO’s) will be deputed for duty.

Besides this, six teams of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has also been called to search surrounding areas and will also be present during the rally.
