LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Sessions Court on Saturday has reserved its verdict over Maryam Safdar’s bail plea, woman who crushed three Younahanad protesters to death with her car to save her life.

While the court was hearing the arguments, the plaintiffs’s counsel said that Safdar’s bail plea should be rejected as she killed three people and the police are trying to save her in the matter.
However, the court reserved its verdict over the case.

Earlier, Safdar had killed as many as three protesters during the Youhanabad protests post suicide bombings outside two churches, about half a mile apart. The protesters had circled her car and according to her, she acted involuntary and accelerated the car to save her life. While doing so she crushed three people to death.
