Summary Reviving the spirit of General Dyer, Indian troops opened indiscriminate fire at a rally injuring 14
SRINAGAR: (Dunya News) – In what appeared to be an attempt to revive the spirit of General Dyer, who had killed 379 Indians in Jalianwala Bagh, Amritsar, in 1919, Indian troops opened fire at a rally in the Indian Held Kashmir on Friday injuring 14 protesters, reported Dunya News.
The slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ irked the Bharatia Janata Party (BJP) government so much that it has now started to open fire on rallies. Unable to force the Kashmiris to love India, they have now started to exercise disproportionate power in order to silence the voice of their hearts.
In what appeared to be an attempted bloodbath, Indian troops injured 14 Kashmiris as they opened fire on a rally, led by Huriyet leader Mir Waiz Umar Farooq, in Taral. They also baton-charged the peaceful protesters and used teargas on them as well.
Indian Interior Minister Raj Nath Singh shamelessly supported the opening of fire on unarmed rally.
Earlier, Indian police raided Musarrat Alam Bhatt’s house in Zeendra and arrested her.
It is pertinent to mention here that Syed Ali Gillani and Shabbir Ahmed Shah are also under house-arrest.
