ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah on Friday has said that the opposition would not endorse cancellation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) lawmakers’ memberships.
He expressed these views while talking to the media.
He said that the government would have to dissolve the assemblies if judicial commission’s (JC) report proves rigging in the General Elections 2013.
Shah said that the opposition welcomed PTI on its return to the Parliament to discuss the Yemen conflict. However, it would not exert pressure for cancellation of their memberships. He said that they would not support the parties who oppose PTI’s return.
The opposition leader said that the entire nation has great expectations from the JC and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should complete its tenure as government however, if rigging is proved the assemblies must be dissolved.
