Multan: Police crackdown nets at least 69 criminals

Summary Cases of two murderers would be sent to the military courts for trials, says Additional IG

MULTAN (Dunya News) – The police on Friday have arrested at least 69 criminals of 11 gangs and seized as many as 184 Kalashnikovs and Rs 1.5 crore cash during search operations in different areas.

According to the details, the police have also seized at least 32 motorbikes from different areas. At least 11 criminals arrested were wanted in Sado Sam and Nawabpur banks robberies. The criminals are expected to make key confessions during interrogations.

Additional Inspector General (IG) Amjad Javed Saleemi said that the crackdown scale has been expanded to four districts to better law and order situation. He said that the cases of two murderers who killed policemen would be sent to the military courts for trials and the preparations for that have been completed.
