SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – A protest rally on Friday has been conducted in Azad Kashmir against Hurriyat leaders, Syed Ali Gilani’s and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq s detentions and arrests of others by the Indian army for waving Pakistani flags in a rally earlier against killing of a youth.

Azad Kashmir Finance Minister Chaudhry Latif Akbar led the rally from the press club to the United Nations (UN) mission office. The protesters raised slogans against India and in favour of the Kashmir freedom movement.

While addressing the participants of the rally, the speakers demanded off the UN, European Union (EU) and other international organizations to take notice of the illegal arrests of the Hurriyat leaders. They demanded an action against the bloodletting of the Indian army in Kashmir.

Earlier, Gilani led a rally against India in the Occupied Kashmir.
