KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday stated that there were cases registered against him in London. Hussain stated that he will face all the cases running against him. The MQM chief stated that he will definitely attend the hearing of the case. A case of money laundering has been registered against Hussain the bail of which is ending Tuesday.
The MQM chief expressed these views while addressing the attendants of the corner meeting in Jinnah ground Karachi.
According to the details, Hussain has to be presented in the police station for the hearing of the case on Tuesday. The decision for the extension of the bail will be made by the British police. Legal experts in England say the Hussain can request for extension of the bail either himself or through his lawyers.
Hussain, while addressing the crowd, stated that one has to face tests during the political struggle. He asked that workers of his party pray for him.
Hussain stated that even the Supreme Court of Pakistan has said that every political party has militant wing. Hussain also said that they welcome the operation in Karachi. He stated that a strict operation was going on against MQM instead of Layari gang however.
Hussain stated that loans of millions of rupees are taken and then written off. Hussain also said that people with money then come into power.
