Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawja Sharif took suo moto notice on a news item regarding release of Hijratullah, the main accused in the Manawan police training school attack.CJ LHC said that a perception is prevailing amongst the masses that the courts are acquitting terrorist. He denied perception adding that the courts cannot charge a person without evidence. He alleged that the prosecutors are not functioning properly. CJ LHC has summoned Punjab IG, Secretary Prosecution Rana Maqbool Ahmad and Prosecutor General Punjab Zahid Hussain Bukhari on June 22.
