KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for NA 246 by-poll Imran Ismail on Saturday said that they did not seek assistance from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) or anyone else for holding rallies in Karachi. He said the planned rally will now take place on April 19 at Shahrah-e-Pakistan instead of Jinnah Ground. He said PTI chief Imran Khan will come to Karachi in any case.

Addressing a press conference after visiting electoral camp at Karimabad area, Ismail said that the decision to hold rally at Shahrah-e-Pakistan instead of Jinnah Ground has been taken for the convenience of people.

PTI candidate said that PTI can hold rallies at Jinnah Ground if it wishes but to avoid inconvenience to participants the venue is being changed.
