KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday once again extended an invitation to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to hold rally in Jinnah Ground. He appealed his workers and supporters not to chant slogans against any leader that comes into the area to campaign.

In a telephonic address to Raabta Committee, Central Executive Council, APMS and other departments’ sessions, Altaf Hussain told workers not to engage in any act that could spoil the atmosphere of election.

He told MQM officials to contact PTI leaders and form a committee based on both leaders to determine a way that will prevent any unpleasant incidences.

Altaf Hussain told the workers not to react even if anyone tears up his posters or pictures. He said the workers must not react even if anyone slaps them on the face.

MQM chief told the workers to control emotions and anger and not to let go tolerance. Welcoming Jamaat Islami’s rally scheduled for April 12, he once again welcomed Imran Khan to hold a rally at Jinnah Ground again.

Trying to reduce the growing temperature in NA 246 constituency, Altaf Hussain said people can vote for whomever they wish and that MQM will respect people’s mandate.
