Formation of JC case: LHC seeks reply from Punjab, federal govt till May 7

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought reply from the Punjab and Federal government till May 7 while conducting the hearing of the plea filed against the formation of Judicial Commission (JC), Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

According to details, the legal petition filed by attorney AK Doger stated that several inquiry tribunals have been made as per constitution to investigate election rigging however many of them have also reserved verdicts.

He further argued that the need of a new JC is against constitution’s ordinance; therefore, the court should annul the establishment of Judicial Commission.
