International airports of Pakistan under threat of attack: CMC
Terrorists have even rehearsed attacks in Mohmand Tangi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal government has on Tuesday written a letter to all provincial governments to improve security on all airports as terrorists have threatened to attack the airports once again.
The letter written by Crises Management Cell (ACMC) states that terrorist groups including Taliban’s Mullah Ummar faction and Jamaatul Ahrar are planning to attack country’s international airports.
According to the letter, terrorists have even rehearsed the attacks in Mohmand Tangi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). It further states that the number of suicide bombers expected to be used in the attacks is 12 and these bombers will enter the airports, disguised as passengers.
KP government has been warned that Baacha Khan airport can be an easy target for the terrorists.
