Summary PNS- Shamsheer is on way to Djibouti from Al Hudaydah carrying as many as 51 evacuees

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Navy ship PNS-Aslat on Tuesday is scheduled to reach Karachi with as many as 187 stranded Pakistanis and foreign nationals onboard evacuated from Yemen after Saudi-led offensive against rebels there.

At least 187 stranded Pakistanis boarded the ship on April 4 after it reached Al Mukalla. Aslat is scheduled to reach Karachi today at around 2:30 pm.

Another Pakistan Navy ship PNS- Shamsheer is on way to Djibouti from Al Hudaydah carrying as many as 51 evacuees. Shamsheer is scheduled to reach Djibouti today. At least 36 Pakistani nationals, 15 foreigners including 12 children are onboard the ship. The foreigners include people from Yemen, Bangladesh, Romania, Philippines, Ethiopia, Qatar, Britain and Germany.

First-rate arrangements have been done by the Pakistan Navy for safe return of the evacuees.
