ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan stated that he stands by his words of declaring the Parliament as fake but now PTI has returned to the assemblies with an empowered judicial commission, Dunya News reported on Monday.
While talking to the media after the joint session of Parliament over Yemen crisis, Imran Khan revealed that all the parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) and Awami National Party (ANP) have also claimed that alleged rigging was taken place in the elections of 2015.
Khan also thanked the people in Parliament for how they welcomed the members of PTI especially those who made all the noises and further asked them that if rigging was done should it not be investigated?
‘PTI wanted to initiate complete investigation into the matter of alleged rigging that’s why the party members left their seats in Parliament. If last year they had opened even 4 constituencies, we would not have been on the streets’, he added.
