Another lake has been formed at Shamshal, north of the Attabad Lake due to melting of a glacier, Dunya News reported on Sunday. Sources said that Shamshal nullah was blocked in wake of the melting of a glacier, some 60kilometers away from Hunza Lake. Resultantly, another lake was spawned, where thewater level iscontinuously going up. The newly-formed lake has endangered some 170 villages. Meanwhile, teams have been sent to review the situation.
