Nawaz announces Sialkot-Lahore expressway project
The government is going to buy at least 4,000MW electricity from China
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Saturday has announced a construction project of an expressway from Sialkot to Lahore.
He made an official announcement while addressing a meeting of exporters at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He vowed to overcome electricity crisis within the coming three to four years. He said that it is government’s responsibility to bring peace and stability in the entire country. The PM said that a country which lacks electricity and gas cannot progress.
Nawaz said that the performance of the Pakistan Army against militants is commendable.
He said that they government is going to buy at least 4,000 MegaWatt (MW) electricity from China.
