Summary
The level of water in the Attabad Lake is decreasing continuously. During the last 72-hours a decrease of 6 inches was recorded in the level of the lake.Since temperatures dropped in Hunza valley the melting rate of glaciers have reduced greatly. The water discharge is being recorded at Ganesh Bridge where the flow of water touches to 5000 cusecs. Meanwhile, heli service is being used in Hunza and Gilgit to deliver medicines and foods to the affected to the areas.
