The accountability court has extended the physical remand of Hamesh Khan, the prime accused in Bank of Punjab money scam, till 14 days on Wednesday. Hamesh was brought to the court in an armoured vehicle for security reasons.The NAB ofdficials contended in the court that the investigation process was not completed yet and sought 25 days extension in the remand. On being asked by Justice Sadiq Wattoo, Hamesh told the court that he has not been tortured and mistreated during the grilling process. NAB would produce him before the court on June 23.
