KARACHI (Dunya News) – Unknown suspects riding on a motorcycle tossed a hand grenade at a school in Nazimabad area of Karachi on Wednesday however no loss of life or property was reported in the incident.
The suspects managed to escape from the scene. They have also dropped a threat letter outside the school.

According to bomb disposal squad (BDS) official, weight of the grenade was 500gram and there is similary between attacks on Gulshan Iqbal and North Nazimabad schools.

Meanwhile, police have arrived at the scene and started investigation of the incident.
Schools around Pakistan have raised their boundary walls, added armed guards and installed metal detectors following terrorist attack on Army Public School in Peshawar in December, 2014 in which more than 150 people, most of them students, were killed.
Since then, the government has stepped up military operations in the tribal areas, reinstated the death penalty and allowed military courts to try civilians — all attempts to crack down on terrorism.
So far, 48 convicts have been executed across the country since lifting of the moratorium on death penalty.
