Summary Case has been registered on Rangers' complaint
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A case has been registered against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain under Anti-Terrorism Act on complaint of Rangers for allegedly threatening the Rangers personnel of murder and issuing insulting remarks, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the case has been registered on complaint of Col. Tahir representing Rangers.
SSP Investigations Faiz Ullah Korejo has said that case has been registered and Altaf Hussain s speeches will be reviewed. He said that media channels will be written letters to provide police with the speech recordings. He said that the Rangers did not provide the recording of the speech.
MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui responded by saying that Altaf Hussain has faced several cases before and has also been to jails. He said that the situation was not new for the MQM chief and would not be able to deter him.
Altaf Hussain has been quoted in the FIR as saying that the Rangers officers who had raided his house would soon become history .
MQM leaders Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Kamran and other workers had visited Civil Lines Police Station to get the copy of the FIR but were unable to get it, Dunya NEws reported.
