LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab and Sindh government has announced a day of mourning today (Monday) following the twin blasts on churches in Lahore, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, missionary schools and colleges will also remain close across the country whereas the security of churches and missionary institutions including patrolling of police and rangers has also been enhanced.

Prayer ceremonies will also be held in the churches for the departed souls.

Furthermore, lawyers are observing black day on the appeal of Sindh bar council and will be presented in the court wearing black arm bands.


Pakistani children and members of a civil society light candles during a vigil for the victims of a suicide bombing attacks on churches.


On the other hand, civil society has also showed solidarity with the Christian community.
