KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members arrested from Nine-Zero have revealed that several welfare organisations and ambulance services are used for transportation of illegal weapons in the city.
According to a press release by the Rangers Spokesperson, the MQM workers who were arrested during a search and siege operation at the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero have revealed that several ambulances are used for “safe” transportation of illegal weapons in the city.
They said that employees of several welfare organisations are involved in the transportation of illegal weapons.
The Rangers Spokesperson said that the direct or indirect transportation of illegal weapons is a crime. He said that the criminals would be arrested under the Sindh Arms Ordinance.
Moreover, he urged the people to inform the authorities about any illegal or suspicious activity at dedicated line 1101.
