NA-137 by-election unofficial results: PML-N's Dr Shazra wins with 77,890 votes
The turn out in all 256 polling stations maintained at around 45 percent
NANKANA SAHIB (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Dr Shazra Mansab on Sunday has won the by-election in NA-137 constituency by securing at least 77,890 votes, according to unofficial results. Independent candidate Ijaz Shah has come second with as many as 39,635 votes.
According to the details, the turn out in all 256 polling stations maintained at around 45 percent.
PML-N supporters opened aerial fire to celebrate Dr Mansab win. While at least two PML-N workers were injured in a clash with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members.
The Prime Minister (PM) has congratulated Dr Mansab over the victory.
