PAT leader's remarks came shortly after CM Shahbaz recorded his statement in Model Town tragedy case
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on Saturday stated that the joint investigation team (JIT) to probe Model Town tragedy has no legal value and it should be called a ‘joke investigation team’, Dunya News reported.
The PAT leader’s remarks came shortly after Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif appeared before the JIT to record his statement.
Gandapur said the head of joint investigation team saluted Shahbaz Sharif on his arrival and served him a cup of tea.
After exchange of few words, all members of the JIT escorted the chief minister to his car, he added.
The PAT leader said that it is a ‘joke investigation team’.
