Summary Funeral prayers of deceased MQM worker would be offered after Zohr prayers.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain demanded strict action against the killers of Waqas Shah, Dunya News reported b on Thursday.

In a statement, Alta Hussain urged workers to participate in Waqas Shah’s funeral that would be offered after Zohr prayers today and demanded a strict action against those who murdered him.

Lauding the sacrifice of Waqas Shah, MQM Chief said that he lost his life while protecting the women.

Earlier, MQM worker Waqas Shah, who worked at party’s information department, was killed during a shooting incident near Nine Zero on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place after a heavy contingent of Rangers personnel raided MQM headquarters and recovered heavy weapons from the scene. Several suspects were also nabbed in the action.

Meanwhile, agitated MQM workers protested against the crackdown and chanted slogans against Rangers. The party has blamed Rangers personnel for Waqas Shah s killing.

Talking to Dunya News, Sindh DG Rangers refuted MQM s claim and stated that he was not killed by the security personnel.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain also condemned the incident and expressed deep sorrow over the killing.

Shah had joined party’s information department a year ago. He was student of Karachi University.
