PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least one terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and a terrorist near Gora Qabristan check post in Peshawar today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
According to sources, a terrorist coming on foot opened abrupt fire on the officials retaliating to which, security personnel killed the terrorist.
Meanwhile, as many as seven people, sitting in a passenger bus at the check post were severely injured and one was killed in an exchange of fire. The injured were immediately transferred to Lady Reading Hospital for medical assistance.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident.
On the other hand, police arrested the commander of an outlawed organization Ali after crossfire in Matni area.
The suspect was wanted in various activities of terrorism and had a head money of Rs5 lac whereas investigation is underway from the nabbed suspect.
