LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab government on Wednesday announced to reduce the prices of ghee by Rs 15 per kilogram across the province, Dunya News reported.

Addressing the media, former law minister Rana Sanaullah told that the provincial government had issued a notification to factory owners to reduce the price of ghee by 15 rupees per kilo.

The notification came in light of reduction of price of palm oil which had fallen from USD 805 to 630 per metric ton.

Sanaullah said that due to the fluctuation in the price, owners of ghee producing factories are earning profits up to 2.5 billion rupees per month.
