Summary Both leaders discussed key bilateral issues
RIYADH (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday arrived in Saudi Arabia on three-day official tour and met Saudi King Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Dunya News reported.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure and other sectors. PM Nawaz said that the government is thankful of Saudi Arabia for supporting Pakistan in every difficulty, adding that the bilateral relations will reach new heights in the reign of King Salman.
PM also termed terrorism and extremism ‘mutual enemies’ of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The prime minister received felicitous welcome upon arrival on the first official visit upon invitation of King Salman.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said that official welcome by the Saudi king demonstrate Pakistan-Saudi Arabian close ties.
PM Nawaz will perform Umra and visit Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madina during the trip.
