Summary Pakistani senate has become an open market where anyone can come and buy a seat: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sirajul Haq appealed whole country to start nation-wide sit-ins if Senate elections get rigged. He said that other countries select people for Senate, who are able and efficient enough to work for the people; while Pakistani senate has become an open market where anyone can come and buy a seat and those who win, use all means to get their money back double fold.

“Election commission is responsible to make Senate elections clean and clear”, He added.

Sirajul Haq said that Pakistan’s situation cannot be changed until the interest-based economy system does not end.

He said that the whole country is victim of terrorism and facing instability, rich ones can afford to stay at home but poor population have to go out to earn and their lives everywhere are in danger.

He demanded the government to shift the weekly holiday back to Friday.
