KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Four terrorists were killed by the police during a search operation in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi on Thursday. Suicide jackets, explosive material and modern weapons were also discovered in the operation, Dunya News reported.
According to SSP Malir, Rao Anwar, police had raided the hideout of an outlawed organization. He said that the terrorists started firing on the police due to which more policemen were called in. In a heavy exchange of fire between police and the terrorists, four of the terrorists were killed.
Rao Anwar said that the terrorists belonged to a banned outfit and suicide jackets, explosive material and other weapons were discovered from them. He told that the accused were wanted in several acts of terrorism in Karachi.
