LAHORE (Dunya News) -- The latest report on implementation of National Action Plan has been submitted to Prime Minister for scrutiny. The report put forward to the Prime Minister apprised him of the number of arrests that have taken place. Punjab had 9413, Sindh 1577, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2724, Islamabad 336, Azad Kashmir 720, Gilgit-Baltistan 21 and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) had 56 operations take place.

During these search operations, Punjab had arrested 1934, Sindh 1533, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 6038, Balochistan 460, Islamabad 505, Azad Kashmir 7, Gilgit-Baltistan 10 while FATA 129 suspects.

The security forces apprehended 2,035 people for the delinquent use of loudspeakers. This figure comprised of 806 offenders from Punjab, 169 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1 from Balochistan and 59 from Islamabad.

Since December 24, 2014, 14,886 operations have been carried out in which 10,616 persons have been taken into custody.

Hate literature was also recovered on the account of which 455 people were arrested in Punjab, 34 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 in Balochistan, 46 in Azad Kashmir while 1 person from Gilgit-Baltistan were incarcerated. On the same charge 41 shops were sealed.

According to the report, 3416 Afghans were deported to their country. The origin of the deported inhabitants was divided among the provinces as follows; 2844 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 195 from Balochistan, 1 from Islamabad while 376 were from FATA.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) booked 18 cases of money laundering and Hundi. It arrested 24 people and recovered 71,50,0000 rupees. 3 people were arrested on the charge of transfer of suspicious money.

National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) helpline 1717 received 161 calls. 2,550,0000 fingerprints were verified by the means of biometric system.
