Summary Policeman got injured by suspects' firing allegedly but ATC set them free giving benefit of doubt

MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Anti-Terror Court (ATC) in Multan set six suspects free on Friday, giving them the benefit of the doubt, Dunya News reported.

According to details, an alleged police encounter took place in Sara-i-Sidhu Police Station of Multan, in which a police constable named Irfan Azam got injured. Police arrested six suspects named Falak Sher, Zulfiqar, Mohammad Khan, Mohammad Ramzan, Nasir aka Shauka and Nasir aka Pochi and presented them before the ATC.

However, Justice Sajjad Ahmad of Special Court No. 2 set the suspects free giving them the benefit of doubt. Case was registered against the suspects at Sarai Sidhu Police Station.
