SC to hear review petition against NRO verdict on May 25

The Supreme Court will hear the petition on May 25 filed by the federal government to review the decision on NRO. A 17-member larger bench has been constituted under the chairmanship of CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The federal government had filed a review petition against SC decision on NRO in which different objections were made. Chairman NAB Naveed Ahsan, former prosecutor general Danashwer Malik and former additional prosecutor general Abdul Baseer Qureshi also challenged the NRO decision against their terminations. These petitions will also be heard on May 25. The SC has called Babar Awan on same day.
