Usman Yousaf Mobeen approved for appointment as Chairman NADRA
Chaudary Nisar Ahmed Khan had requested the appointment of Usman Yousaf Mobeen as Chairman NADRA.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday approved the appointment of Usman Yousaf Mobeen as Chairman of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). A statement issued by a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry said that Pakistan’s PM has approved the appointment of Usman Yousaf Mobeen.
According to the details, the Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar Ahmed Khan had requested the appointment of Usman Yousaf Mobeen as Chairman NADRA. According to the Interior Ministry spokesperson, Usman Yousaf Mobeen is renowned as a highly capable and honest officer. He stated that this was the first time that the appointment was made transparently and according to the NADRA Ordinance. Otherwise it was done on personal choice previously.
Usman Yousaf Mobeen was working as the Chief Technology Officer in NADRA before appointment as Chairman.
