Summary 'India can't become a member of the Security Council', says Rana Tahir
ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer on Wednesday stated that the induction of India to the nuclear supplier group will create an imbalance in the region.
He expressed these views during a meeting of National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Defense Production.
According to the details, the meeting of the Standing Committee was presided over by Khawaja Sohail Mansoor. The Federal Minister for defense while giving a briefing stated that the shortcomings and problems in the organizational structure of the Defense Ministry have an impact on the exports.
The Secretary for Production Rana Tahir stated that India can’t become a member of the Security Council. He also said that as long as Pakistan-India conflict was not resolved, the United States (US) should keep its relationship with India to a certain limit.
