Interior Minister Rehman Malik and MQM chief Altaf Hussain held a meeting in London in which Rehman had assured Altaf Hussain that Hyderabad current status would not be changed in any case. Rehman Malik assured Altaf Hussain that current geographical setting of Hyderabad will be maintained. Governor Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Federal Minister Farooq Sattar, Baber Ghori and other MQM leaders were present on the occasion. Rehman Malik said that MQM is a coalition partner and the government wants to solve all the matters with consensus. Altaf Hussain also assured that every attempt would be foiled to break this coalition.
