Summary Tweeps trended #MuhammadTheMerciful which remained on top for several hours throughout the country
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – In view of the events that have unfolded after the murder of the staffers working for French magazine Charlie Hebdo, Twitter has remained sort of a battle-ground for the Muslims and the segments calling them as terrorists for the act of only the three men who staged that massacre in the name of Islam.
Though trends such as #KillAllMuslims and likes were to be seen from the hate-mongers, Muslims seemed to have taken a logical path by sharing the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and Islam that preach nothing but peace and love for humanity.
In a series of hashtags that have trended recently on Twitter, the latest one has been #MuhammadTheMerciful in which the tweeps shared some of the most beautiful Hadith and acts of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).
