Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Sunday took out a rally in Karachi against American slavery. The rally is en-route to Tibet Center from Sohrab Kot. The rally is headed by the Amir Munawar Hassan.Hundreds of JI activist are participating in the rally. Special security plan has been devised for the rally. The route of the rally include Ayesha Manzil, Gharib Ababad, Hassan Square. Addressing the rally, JI Amir Munawar Hassan objected to the countrys support to the US-led war against terrorism. He accused the US was using Pakistani security forces to serve its ends. He said Islamabad should discontinue support and cooperation to Washington in the latters so-called war on terrorism to avoid destruction on its soil. The fire caused by our cooperation to Americans can engulf us, he said. He said the US was trying to shift the focus of the anti-terror war from Afghanistan to Pakistan.The JI amir said the US was not fighting terrorists but Muslims, as it considered them its enemy No 1. He said Pakistan should separate itself from the US in war against terrorism.
