Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi called for result-oriented talks with Pakistan and added that Kashmir cause was affected in Musharrafs regime. Addressing the National Assembly, the FM said that Kashmir issue is the base of Pakistans foreign policy, adding that Pakistan would continue to support Kashmiris efforts regarding their right to self-determination. He sought resolution of Kashmir issue with complete consultation of the Kashmiris. He termed the talks with India held on the margins of Saarc summit positive.
