PM Nawaz Sharif celebrates 65th birthday
Nawaz Sharif's Indian counterpart PM Narendra Modi has wished him on his birthday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday celebrates his 65th birthday today on December 25.
Nawaz Sharif assumed charge as the PM of the country in the General Elections 2013.
Nawaz Sharif commonly known as the “Lion of Punjab” was born in 1949 and is one of the wealthiest people of the country with his business conglomerate Ittefaq Group. He is the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) which is currently the largest political party in the country. He assumed charge as the PM of Pakistan on June 2013 as the 18th PM of the country to date.
Nawaz Sharif son of Muhammad Sharif started his political career by winning General Elections 1985. His party got overwhelming response from the people of the country making him win large number of seats in both the provincial and the National assemblies.
Moreover, Nawaz Sharif’s Indian counterpart PM Narendra Modi has wished him on his birthday.
While the PM sent a bouquet of flowers through the Pakistan High Commission to wish the former PM of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee as he shares his birthday with him today. AB Vajpayee has turned 90 on December 25.
