SC to hear petitions against judicial commission from April 28

The Supreme Court will start hearing of constitutional petitions challenging the formation of judicial commission under 18th amendment from April 28. Five member larger bench led by Justice Nasir-ul Mulak will hear the petitions. Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffery, Justice Raja Fiaz Ahmed and Justice Tariq Pervaiz are the other members of the bench. Five petitions were filed against different clauses including formation of judicial commission under 18th amendment in the SC. Petitions were filed by Barrister Akram Sheikh, Rawalpindi District Bar, Supreme Court Bar, Leader of Muslim League Zia Ijaz ul Haq and Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan.
