Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the government would give Rs116billion to the power sector to end circular debt and meet the crisis.During a press conference after the conclusion of the energy moot today, the PM said the Rental Power Plants (RPPs) would produce 550 megawatts energy, while the 10 IPPs that are in the pipeline would generate around 300MW power.He said that around 1300MW electricity would be conserved under the new energy policy. He said that the announced loadshedding would be cut by 33 percent while vowed to do away with the unannounced outages.He added that the renewable energy resources would be utilized such as water, air and solar energy to meet the demands. The PM said that Public Sector Energy Fund would be created.
