LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister’s Spokesperson Musadik Malik on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s announcement regarding shutting down Pakistan is ‘unfortunate’, adding that Khan’s tone was changed, Dunya News reported.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Malik said that people will suffer if the country is shut down. He alleged that Imran Khan wants to shut down poor people’s food.

“Can’t people see what will happen if Imran Khan succeeds?” he asked.

He said PTI chief should exhibit political sense and act while staying within bounds of law.

Malik said he had no idea that Imran Khan had allegedly told Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan to shut down aid to Pakistan.
