Summary Shaista Lodhi and two others are also mentioned in the blasphemy case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Abbottabad court on Saturday declared GEO Television and Jang media group owner Mir Shakeelur Rehman proclaimed offender in the blasphemy case.
Rehman had cases registered against him in three different police stations of Abbottabad.
Anchorperson Shaista Lodhi and as many as two others were also mentioned in the cases.
Earlier, Gilgit-Baltistan Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had sentenced Rehman to 26 years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 1.3 million for broadcasting a blasphemous programme.
Rehman fled the country after the ATC gave its verdict.
