Imran Khan should appear in court himself: Pervaiz Rasheed
He said the accused should appear before court voluntarily.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed on Monday said that the police are trying to arrest those involved in attacks on PTV and parliament buildings, adding that he is hopeful the accused will voluntarily present themselves in front of court, Dunya News reported.
According to the state media, Pervaiz Rasheed said that there is ample evidence against the attackers in the form of footages from TV channels. He alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s provocation led supporters to go to extreme and then, he said, Khan decided to retreat after seeing public opinion.
He claimed that PTI chairman persuaded his followers to enter people’s houses.
The federal minister said that Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri are proclaimed offenders in the attack on PTV and parliament building case.
He said the accused should appear before court voluntarily.
