Rigging was also done in KPK: Prof Ibrahim
Parties can not rely on dance and songs to bring change in the country, says Ibrahim
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) provincial chief Professor Ibrahim on Thursday has said that elections were ‘engineered’ and that rigging was also done in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), besides Punjab.
Ibrahim criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while talking to the media at a meeting regarding preparations of a three-day seminar.
He said that both the parties have to show seriousness for successful negotiations and that they could not rely on dance and songs to bring change in the country.
He said that the government gets confused under pressure but as soon as pressure is released, visits to foreign countries are started.
He further said that they are preparing for a historic seminar in Lahore and that more than one lac people from KPK would participate in the seminar.
